I love Jesus, people, and music. I have lived in Montana for most of my life. I have been writing, composing, and playing music since 1999. For the past several years I have moved towards mixing, recording, and producing my own compositions.
I was born in 1975 and grew up listening to Motown (compliments of my father) and 80's artists and bands in all their hair and makeup glory. Now, picture a tropical Island and a love for smooth jazz and classical music, and the result is a baby called Grounded To Fly.

When I pick up a guitar, I automatically play rhythm and blues chords. I learned folk guitar at the Green Lake Community Center in Seattle at age 11, then moved to Tennessee at age 13 where my ears and fingers got some country influence. In my twenties, I played country and pop in bars up and down the highline of Montana. Then Jesus arrested my heart, and I started writing music. I made a CD of original songs around the turn of the century using Adobe Audition. If all I had was a stick and a rock, I'd make music.

From a young age, my desire to play the piano has grown. In addition to learning the piano, I am working on my guitar skills as well. I love listening to artists such as Morrissey and The Cure, and genres such as classical, jazz, and independent rock. My love for listening to music has turned into a love for making music, and I am excited to continue doing just that.
